Store fixtures are most known for their use in brick-and-mortar stores as well as craft show booths, but there are a variety of different things that you can do with these fixtures. Grid panels, as well as other products that we offer, can be used to elevate an office space or dorm room, organize drawers, and more!
Grid panels work beautifully in a small spare bedroom to create an organized and decorative office space. Hanging them is simple. Start with 4 wall mount brackets and attach them to your wall coordinating with the 4 corners of your panel. Place the grid panel onto the mounts and you are done. The grids can be mounted vertically or horizontally onto the wall within 30 minutes, depending on your preference for the space. We stock a variety of grid accessories that traditionally are used to display shoes or other accessories that can be used on the grids to display pictures, art and office supplies. Also, 1” sign clips are great for hanging signs and pictures.
Mini wire grid panels are lightweight wire with a coated finish that are often used with connectors to create dimensional cubes for display. However, similar to the grid panels above, we’ve taken the individual panels and placed them onto a wall. You can use regular wall screws or removable hooks to secure them. We used plastic sign clips to hang memos, cards and pictures. These panels make it easy to create a great photo collage or inspiration board that will take just minutes to install.
Wire grid panels can also be used on the floor. With just a few wire grid panel connectors and shelving, you can create a structure that is self- supporting and can be used to store all sorts of things. We took three 2’x 6’ panels and joined them together with wire grid panel connectors on each side. We placed 24” x 12” white melamine shelves and 12” shelf brackets about 16” apart on the structure. We used it to display artwork, pictures and craft supplies. We also included baskets that easily hook onto the grid panels. This unit only takes up 2’ of space on the floor.
Wire grid opens up a world of possibilities for displaying and storing all types of things. We have given some examples of what you can do but we encourage you to follow your own vision and create something all your own. Wire grid can be used without the need for grid legs or hanging them on the wall. You can join panels together with grid connectors to create free standing structures. Remember to balance the weight of your merchandise on the grid panels. Pay attention to your weight load on shelving. If you have too much weight, the panels will start to pull or the shelves can buckle under the pressure. There are so many wonderful options. Make sure you check out all of them here.
